Purpose: Many documents must be uploaded to the eFiling site as a PDF. The following guide helps users convert documents originally saved in formats such as .doc and .docx to a PDF format or convert a document to PDF using Print to PDF.

Convert a document to PDF using ‘Save as’
- Open your document in Microsoft Word.
- Select File > Save As and choose the location where you want to save your file.
- Remember this location for future reference.
- Enter a file name for the document.
- In the Save as type dropdown menu, select PDF.
- Your document is now converted to PDF and ready for upload.
Convert a document to PDF using ‘Print to PDF’
- Open your document in Microsoft Word.
- Select File > Print.
- In the Printer drop-down menu, choose an option that includes "PDF" in its name. Some examples are Adobe PDF, Print to PDF, or Microsoft Print to PDF.
- Select [Print].
- Select a location on your computer where you want to save the PDF file. Remember this location for future reference.
- Enter a file name for your PDF document.
- Select [Save].
- Your document is now converted to PDF and ready for upload.
