Circuit court eFiling - Converting bar admissions applicant eCourts account to an attorney eCourts account

Purpose: Bar admissions applicant eCourts accounts can be converted to Wisconsin attorney accounts once admission to the bar occurs. This article describes how to convert your admissions eCourts account.

Applicable Users: Newly admitted bar members with Wisconsin bar admissions applicant accounts

1. Visit the eFiling website: http://efiling.wicourts.gov.
   
2. Select the Update account information link.
   
3. Log into eCourts with your User name and Password. Select [Log in].
   
4. Select the Upgrade to Wisconsin Attorney account link.
   
5. Enter your Bar Id and address information on the Upgrade to Attorney page. The Firm and Phone/Fax Number fields are optional. Select [Save].
   
6. The Update account information page displays. Your user type is now Wisconsin attorney. Use the links on this page to update your user information, password, security questions, and addresses as needed. Select [Previous] to return to the eCourts log-in screen.
