Purpose: This document guides you on managing email notifications for cases you are involved in, either directly or as a representative. Notifications are sent to the primary email linked to your eCourts account. You have the option to disable these emails and instead check updates via the Notifications page on the appellate eFiling website, or add a CC email address through the Appellate eFiling preferences page to receive notifications.

Update eFiling notification preferences
- Visit the Wisconsin appellate court eFiling website at https://acefiling.wicourts.gov/ and log in. For more information see the article Logging into Wisconsin appellate court eFiling.
- Hover your mouse over your name in the top-right corner of the screen. Select Preferences from the dropdown menu that displays.
- Enter or edit the email address in the CC email notifications field.
- If you prefer not to receive email notifications you can select the Off radio button. The same notifications continue to be available from the Notifications page.
- Select [Save].
