Purpose: After a case have been electronically filed or converted to electronic format, a registered party can view information about the case as well as all documents filed on the case.
Applicable Users: eFile users
- Visit the Wisconsin appellate court eFiling website at https://acefiling.wicourts.gov/ and log in. For more information see the article Logging into Wisconsin appellate court eFiling.
- Select the [My cases] button or the My cases hyperlink.
- Use the filter options to quickly locate the case you wish to file on.
Note: To view closed cases, select the Click here to search link near the top of the page. - Select the Case number link to view the WSCCA public case view.

Select the View documents link to view the documents on the case.
Documents that were eFiled, scanned, or uploaded to the case will be listed on the Documents tab.- To change the number of documents displayed at a time, select the number of documents from the Show drop down menu.
- Select the Document name link to view and/or print the document.
- Document names displayed in black text (not a link) are restricted and unable to be viewed.

Documents with Submitted in the Date column have been filed with the court and are awaiting processing.
- To view the documents included in the index, select the Index tab.
- To change the number of documents displayed at a time, select the number of documents from the Show drop down menu.
- Select the View Parties link to display all parties and their attorneys on the case.

The Notice column displays the notice type for the associated party.
- eNotice parties/attorneys receive electronic notification generated by the eFiling system.

Paper parties require traditional paper notification. When these parties choose to opt-in to become electronic filing parties, you will be notified that their notice status has changed.
